Application of Investment Strategies of Stock Options and Analysis of Option Data
The course will introduce strategies for using stock options in line with share price development, for hedging exposure to stock investment, for capitalising on opportunities brought about by sharp market upturns and downturns, and for bottom-fishing. As stock prices fluctuate, this course will also focus on reducing portfolio risks by liquidating or unwinding stock option positions for profit. As retail investors have a limited knowledge of stock options, the course will end with an in-depth analysis of the patterns of option trades to shed light on the manoeuvres of large traders.

Analysis and application of option parameters and implied volatility|
After acquiring some practical experience, investors will understand that for options trading, they do not necessarily have to bet on rising or falling stock prices. Rather, they can trade options by acting on option volatility, time value differences, and differences in delta sensitivity values. As part of the course, there will be an in-depth discussion on how to formulate trading strategies in response to stock price fluctuations and changing time values with the aim of achieving extra returns on top of those gained through exposure to stock price movements.

Index Option Investment Course
Speaker：Founder of Investology - Henry Wong*
An index option is one of the most popular derivative instruments among Hong Kong investors. As many international investors also participate in index options, this market enjoys greater depth and the transaction price of index options contracts can better reflect reasonable investment values.
With a focus on Hang Seng Index (HSI) and Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (HSCEI), Hong Kong index options may be operated together with index futures to not only control the portfolio risk, but also complement stock options. As such, the overall investment strategies can be formulated based on the level of implied volatility.
